This blog is about our collective experience in the Philippine Funds for Little Kids.

It is also about the journey of one yellow boat called “Bagong Pag-asa” (New Hope) that is changing lives all across the Philippines.

Over the last year, our story has inspired countless of individuals and organizations to join our cause and help kids who struggle to go to school. It is our hope that we would be able to inspire more in the years to come.

In November 2010, the Zamboanga Funds for Little Kids was organized to help kids who swim to school in the village of Layag-Layag, Brgy. Talon-Talon, Zamboanga City.

In June 2011, the Masbate Funds for Little Kids was also organized to help kids who swim to school in Isla Mababoy, Brgy. Guinhadap, Monreal, Masbate.

In July 2011, we decided to form the Philippine Funds for Little Kids as an umbrella organization seeking out all kids who swim to school in the Philippines and help them and their communities. You can email us at philippine.funds@gmail.com for inquiries and reports on areas where kids swim to school.

It is our belief that together we can build the country of our dreams for our children, for our families, for our people.
